Florida beat Kentucky twice in 10 days, received a No. 2 seed in the South Regional. The Wildcats are one of five SEC teams in the tournament.

Calipari said he thought before the SEC championship game that both Kentucky and Florida probably should be No. 3 seed or a loser in the SEC title game should be No. 4 seed.

"I'm a little surprised," said Calipari. "It was a hard road for us (and) was a hard way last year. I do not think that is personal, but wow. This team has worked very hard all year and I think our RPI is seven by seven and you're given four? But at the end of the day, which is in the tournament and has yet to win games. "

Senior Josh Harrellson said he was disappointed by the No. 4 seed.

"We thought we should have 3 seed, and many people probably are not happy with where we are now, but we can not complain," he said. "We just went out and compete and play basketball. I do not think that importing the seeds, is the NCAA tournament."
