Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani arrived in India to watch the Cricket World Cup

Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has arrived in India Wednesday to watch the Cricket World Cup match between two teams of neighboring nuclear rival tries to repair relations with the wounded in the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

"We all need to enjoy cricket," Gilani told reporters after landing in Chandigarh, Punjab, near the city of Mohali, which hosts the semifinal between India and Pakistan.

Pakistani leader was watching the game with his acute Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh, who had called him last week, which started Wednesday.

The South Asian rivals have fought three wars since the bloody partition of the Asian subcontinent in 1947, has also used as a platform to facilitate cricket relations.

In 2005, Singh and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has seen a cricket match at the stadium in New Delhi.
